I may sound like a broken record, but the best part of my day (on the days I get the chance) is napping with the girlies. There is nothing better than snuggling with those two. Clara was napping in her crib this afternoon as I laid down with Lucy. As we were wrapped up in blankets I whispered, "I love you, Princess Lucy". She kissed me on the nose and said, "I love you, Princess Mama-Mommy".
That girl makes my heart happy.
I thought I would be one of those mothers who (among other things) would mourn the loss of each phase as they both grew. So far, every new phase quickly becomes my "favorite".
That said, I forgot how much I loved the 12-18 month phase. Clara is leaning more and more everyday and right now, with everything she does, we can practically watch the wheels turning in her head. Right now she is learning new words, blowing kisses, snuggling with serious intent and recognizing people....as well as dancing. Oh the dancing!!
If I could live in this stage forever, I would...happily.
