Lucille Ottoman

I got my copy of the Serena and Lily catalog yesterday which I usually just look at for inspiration (their prices are outrageous) and I came across this. The Lucille Ottoman. Did you carefully read the name?
I have. to. have. it.
I am now on the search for a less expensive version and so far, no luck. Anyone? I would even buy a cheap one and reupholster if I need to...Serena and Lily has a plethora of beautiful fabrics to choose from. They are so yummy.
Much like the ruffle duvet I am sort of obsessing but I don't think I can justify (not to mention afford) spending over $759 on an ottoman. :/

Just now I was going through the basement looking for an extension cord for my sewing machine to make yet another ruffle-adorned something or another and came across my Christmas decorations. Now, I've made a rule for myself; no Christmas decorations until half way through this month. But I thought one little peek or two couldn't hurt. I came across some of the things I bought on clearance at Target right after Christmas last year and became giddier than a little girl on Christmas morning!! New stockings (which I can't wait to put names on!!), new stocking holders, some new beaded garland and a throw pillow with little mittens on it....and that was just the one box. Oh, I simply cannot wait.
I noticed, too, that I bought enough stockings to have one more baby....hmm....very wise of me.

Right now both the girls are napping (one in her big-girl-bed, the other on my chest) and I want to get crazy with projects. Our JoAnn's here in Austin opens on Friday and I need to get some lace. Only thing better than ruffles? Lace ruffles. Hot.

Today I am thankful for Christmas decorations and a sweet husband who cleaned while I was at bible study this morning :) !!
