Ruffles

I have no appetite - which would be awesome if it didn't make me nervous that I'm going to vomit everywhere like Lucy has been doing since last night. The poor little ladies are just getting better in time for a flu. Bummer.

Tony had to change Lucy's sheets three times last night and at the grocery store today Lucy had to bring her "puke bowl" with just in case. She (of course) introduced it to everyone we walked by holding it as if it were a baby saying, "this is Lucy's puke bowl!". Cute, Lu.

Yesterday I had some dairy. I am trying to slowly bring it back but I don't know how well I am doing with that. Clara is a bit crabby again and I can't decide if it's because of the dairy or because she's getting sick like Lucy. It's not like I would know the difference anyway. She is such a puker. Gross.

In the mean time I have pretty much been putting ruffles anywhere and on everything in my house. I just discovered how to sew them (sooo easy) and of course I probably spent as much at the craft store in materials for making ruffly throw pillows as I would have on the adorable ones I am trying to replicate from Target. My dining room looks like JoAnn Fabrics got the flu all over it. And Lucy. Because she really did. Gross.

I have been looking forward to the weekend as it is Halloween and Saturday alone we have dance class and two parties - one with the babes and one without. I still haven't picked out a costume and I feel it's not really fun to dress up when you are still feeling fat. Tony is going to be a gorilla again. The agreement was that he would wear the gorilla suit every Halloween for the rest of his life if I went and bought it for him. He could probably gain 50 lbs and still fit in it too. *Sigh*. I am still only down 5 lbs and my goal was 10 lbs by Sunday! Ahh! Maybe a flu wouldn't be the worst thing in the world....

  2. I was wondering when you were going to post again! :) Been waiting. You will look great no matter what you go ass for Halloween. I'm sorta in the same boat...no clue what I'm going to be. I'm hoping target still has costumes left when I finally get there tomorrow. Your ruffles are adorable and I hope those little girls (and you) get well soon!
