Dear 10 lbs,
I have noticed you have been lingering the past, oh, five to six months. I don't know exactly where you are -- I have ideas, but I can't seem to pinpoint you. I see some of you still hanging onto my arms, my butt, my tummy and it is time for you to go. I have been running regularly the past nine weeks now, and somehow you haven't fallen off. Your fifteen friends got lost in the fall, and I would rather not go into summer with you. This past week of training for my first 5k (this Saturday!!) has been especially hard this week and I can't help but think it's all the extra work you are making me do carrying you around. I am driving myself crazy and I feel like I'm losing it...er, um, not losing it? Get off me, please.
